Why this award?

Holmatro wants to recognize each person involved in life saving actions, using Holmatro Rescue Tools.

What is this award?

The Holmatro "GOLD PIN AWARD" comes with a personalized certificate of achievement and a gold plated lapel pin in the shape of a miniature spreader (pictured above).

Who is eligible for this award?

The department must send a letter or e-mail to Holmatro explaining the nature of the rescue call, how the Holmatro equipment was used and how important it was that they had the equipment available.  A copy of the incident report, pictures and if possible, copies of newspaper articles or television footage must also be included. 

With these items as proof, the department should send a list of all persons from the department who were at the scene and played a part in the rescue.  This list must be signed (or emailed) by the fire chief or signing officer.  Please send all material to:

After receiving this information, After receiving the information, ESI will submit the information to Holmatro and follow up on the request. Holmatro will review the information to determine if the incident qualifies for the Gold Pin Award.  If all criteria has been met, we will promptly send all certificates and Gold Pins to the attention of the Fire Chief or signing officer. Holmatro will send the certificates and pins to ESI then we will distributor them to the department.
